This is how Operation Free Women began, from early days, and what prompted us to start operations!
Arguments For and Against Abortion
This blog post will attempt to cite different sources for a discussion of the social and religious implications of abortion, to try and provide more information on the topic and whether it should be allowed legally or not.
Our Model
We provide abortion cost assistance services to women who live in states where abortions are not legal.
This includes:
- The cost of the flight (100%)
- The cost of a rideshare service from and to the airport as well as from and to the abortion clinic (100%)
- Secure hotel reservations (50%)
- Up to 75% (depending on need) of the abortion clinic bill.
- We do not require certification or proof of a pregnancy, only a bill from the abortion clinic to pay for up to 75% of the procedure.
This means we will only provide assistance to women who live in states where abortions are illegal, since they need the help the most.
We strive to provide the best accountability for our donors and funders. Our policy is that 70% of all proceeds get classified into a restricted cash account, which can only be used for paying for these services. Only 30% of what is received can be used towards business expenses and management and general expense.
Should the law ever be overturned, operations will cease and desist, and 30% of the account will be taken out while the rest will go to other abortion assistance funds to help others in need.
